100 gr of butter

110 gr of brown butter

100 gr of granulated sugar

2 eggs

Juice from 1 small lime

1 teaspoon of high quality vanilla extract

185 gr all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon of baking powder

Pinch of salt

Zest from 2 small limes

100 gr of white chocolate, chopped


Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius.

Spray and line with parchment paper a 20 cm square pan.

In the bowl of your electric mixer cream together the softened butter and both types of sugar.

Add the eggs one at a time, lime juice and vanilla until combined.

In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and lime zest and set aside.


Add the flour mixture and mix until all the ingredients are combined.

Add the chopped chocolate.


Using a rubber spatula spoon the batter into the prepared pan.


Bake for about 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool completely.



Cut into squares and eat away…..
